Qur'an Memorisation

Tajweed Lesson 1 - حق التلاوة

Intensive Course:	the aim of this course is to provide a quick but detailed overview of the rules of Ahkam.
Duration:	2 hours per week / 12 weeks each level.
Prerequisite :	fluent in Arabic reading.


Level One :	This course offers students a comprehensive study of the rules of Tajweed, including an examination of the Tafseer of the Qur’an.
	Students will learn and memorise the correct recitation of Juz ‘Amma, Tabarak and Qad Sami’a (Chapters 30, 29 and 28).
Duration:	3 hours per week / 30 weeks.


Level Two:	Students are required to memorise 8 Juz’, according to the rules of Tajweed.
Duration:	2 hours per week / 10 months.
Prerequisite:	memorisation of Juz’ 29 and 30 with the rules of Tajweed; or successful completion of Level One.


Level Three :	This course will allow students to complete their memorisation of the Qur'an in line with the rules of Tajweed.
Duration:	3 hours a week / 12 months.
Prerequisite:	a solid knowledge of the Ahkam al Tajweed, and memorisation of 10 Juz’. By the end of this course, students will be assessed and granted an interntionally recognised qualification, with an Ijaza with a sanad to the Prophet (s.a.w).

3 levels of studies :

Students who complete the courses will be proficient in Arabic reading in preparation for Quranic studies.
